Amazon Prime/Bath & Bedroom Edition ~ June 16, 2026

Good morning!  Last week, I mentioned some Prime household items and today that continues, but with a focus on the bath and bedroom.  These are all items I have purchased for my new place and really like.

First, is the curtain rod, which is the same I used in my den, however, this one is black. I love the simple, but nice look of these.  They accommodate any type of curtains!

These are the curtains I have on on the curtain rod.  They are black out and work beautifully!  The look and feel of these are so nice.

Have you heard of ceiling fan filters? I bought a package and put them on the ceiling fans in my bedroom and my daughter's bedroom.  They stick to the top of the blades and work like an air purifier.

I had so many throw pillows when downsizing, so I was able to purchase some new pillow covers to use for my bed.  I love doing this for any pillows and it is especially nice to purchase pillow covers for the holidays too. I love that the two larger ones and the smaller ones have different textures, which is a design element for choosing pillow.

Have you seen these waffle bath mats?  They surpass any bath mat I have had!  They are soft, absorbent, and they don't move on the floor!  The quality is so good if you are in need of a bath mat refresh.  They come in different colors and sizes.  I have 2 in my bathroom...one in front of the mirror cabinet and one in front of the tub/shower.

I ordered this makeup organizer and love it!  Mine sits inside my bathroom cabinet, but it would also be a nice display on your bathroom counter as well.  It has 2 drawers and then the other open compartments that can be arranged in different ways.  This is the easiest way for me to access my makeup each day and it has a sleek look to it.

This is a basic item I ordered to use under my new bed so I could store a few things underneath.  These risers can be used on furniture or appliances too.

Last but not least, is this air mattress.  I once considered upgrading my new sofa to a pull out sofa, since they have greatly improved since the 70's design!  However, to add this feature to my sofa would have cost close to the price of the actual sofa.  I decided to invest in a new air mattress instead to have for extra sleeping space.  This one has a headboard and a cup holder, ha!

Amazon Prime/Household Edition ~ June 9, 2026

Good morning!  Today I am sharing some recent household items purchased from Amazon.  These are all favorites I am using currently.

Washable Rug

This is a beautiful washable rug that is so soft!  I am using this in my bedroom.  I chose this subtle print because my bedspread has a print on it and I didn't want it to clash too much.  Clearly by the pictures, this would be suitable in any room! Hello, and it is washable & affordable!

Faux Hydrangeas

Who doesn't love some faux flowers these days?  These are gorgeous and you can adjust the leaves with these.  I love how other flowers can be added to enhance these.

Curtain Rod

I have gold accents in my living room and this curtain rod was perfect.  It can accommodate any style of curtains.

This is a beautiful curtain!  This was my first choice for curtains, but I did end up using a more bold print for my living room.  However, my daughter has these curtains and the look is so high end!

Metal Cabinet Closet

I am using this cabinet in my garage for winter coat storage, rainboots, and other "outside" shoes.  I also added some magnetic hooks on the inside to hang a few things.  This has been such an added investment for additional storage.  

 Electric candle lighter

On a super practical note, this electric candle lighter is my favorite of these I have purchased.  I love that is has a flexible neck, holds a charge for a long time, and is just so convenient!

Robot Vacuum

I needed a new robot vacuum and I love this one!  It includes a mop attachment and also comes with a convenient remote control.  It will learn your space to vacuum or you can spot clean certain areas.  These save so much time!

Wall Sconces

Alright, I am going to be honest about these lights.  They really may be my favorite thing I have in my new place!  These are re-chargeable accent lights. They come with a remote control, can be easily removed to charge and the light has 3 different levels.  They can be dimmed with the remote control.  These can be utilized horizontally or vertically in your space.  The first picture is how I have them in my place.  These also could be used above art work or any wall space!

Floor lamp

On the subject of lighting, this is a great floor lamp.  It comes with a nice shade and it can tilt.  It is also nice it has the floor switch.

Step stool

A step stool is so handy to have!  

Batteries

And of course, a very practical household necessity are batteries.  These are on subscription for me as I use them for remote controls and lights mainly.  They are at a great price point.

Fashion Files ~ Amazon Purchases

Today, I am sharing some recent fashions purchased from Amazon recently.

This is the dress I wore to Brook's graduation. It is true to size, comfy and has pockets!

I love this shirt dress that also has pockets! It comes in different colors and was on a limited deal this week.

These jeans are super comfy and I love that the length is just right for me as a shorter person.  I purchased this in white, but it does come in blue denim as well.

This top is flattering with the stripes and neck line.  It also comes in other colors and solid colors too.

I have ordered two different short sets for the summer.  This is the first one I wore on Mother's Day.  This is super soft and I love the high neck.  It has pockets too!

This is the second short set.  The trend of pockets continues! Both of these come in multiple color options.

And last but not least, this is my new cover-up for this swim season.  It comes in black and white. I ordered it in black and received it yesterday.  I really like it! This is a perfect cover-up if you need one for this season. And you guessed it, it has a pocket!!

Talking About it Tuesday ~ Amazon Fashion

 Good morning.  Thanks for your kind words yesterday.  Monday was a good day and I am encouraged for a new week ahead.  Yesterday I shared some random Amazon purchases and today will share some recent fashion purchases from Amazon.

Lace ruffle dress

This dress is so cute in any color!  I bought it in brown red and would be tempted to buy another one in a different color. 

Boho button midi dress

This is another darling dress that I would buy in any color.  And it has pockets!!!

Striped shirt dress

This is another dress that has pockets for the win!

Cap sleeve sweater

I originally ordered this sweater in beige, but then realized I have another sweater very similar to that color.  I liked it so much, I ordered this in dusty pink.

Gold hoops

Amazon is my go-to place for a lot of earrings.  I like these, although I wish the hoops were a little thicker, but I still wear these so many days of each week!

Compression socks

If this doesn't say I'm over 50, I don't know what would.  Honestly, I had to start wearing these when I was 30 due to blood clots.  From time to time when I get some leg pain or am traveling/sitting for a while, I definitely need to wear compression socks to ease pain in my legs.

2-n-1 Post: Amazon Prime/Hello Monday

Good morning blog friends!  I am sharing a few highlights from 2 link ups today. First up is Amazon Prime.  Today I have a few finds from 2025.  Tomorrow I will share fashion finds on Amazon.

I needed some new slippers and these are cute and comfy!

Body brush

Anyone else out there dry brush?  My niece told me about this, so I try to do this several nights a week.

Cooling sheets

I ordered some new sheets last week that are cooling sheets.  I will see how they feel when it really gets warm.  I am thanful it hasn't been too warm yet!

Nail concealer polish

I heard great things about this polish on several influencer Instagram accounts.  This is a very neutral polish and it will last about 4 days without chipping, which is pretty good for me without using gel or dip.

Dance shoes

Most of you know I have been taking dance lessons the past 6 months.  I finally bought me some practice shoes.  They are really comfortable too!  

My weekend began by spending time with my great nieces and nephews.  I celebrated my great niece's 3rd birthday Friday night.

Me and one of her big sisters.  This girl always gives me the biggest hugs and I can't get enough of them!

I spent Friday night at my parents to help with my mom while my dad had somewhere to go.  I came home Saturday and it was torrential rains and storms all day long. So many roads in our area are flooded.  I am so thankful there is no rain in the forecast this week!  I was able to get a few things done at home and had some sleepy time tea in this mug I found while going through old things.

Sunday, I went to church and had community group that night. The in-between times were hard, as Sundays often are for me.  I cried a lot, but have realized to embrace all my tears and know they are a constant part of healing that is just part of my journey until Heaven.
