Babies

It's midweek, but here is a post with some highlights from last weekend, which basically includes babies!

Speaking of babies, my baby came home from her week in Miami last week. Here are some pictures from her trip:

These girls wore Los Angeles sweatshirts home....a sign they are ready for their next adventure together!

And this has to be one of my all-time favorite pictures of the girls...standing in front of their own street sign!

Saturday, we went to my sister's and look who else came!!

And Campbell is such a cutie too!

Here Campbell is trying to figure out Avery....good luck little man!

Crawford chillin with her Bear (her grandfather)

She woke up and showed us some smiles!

She was smiling at her Honey (her grandmother)

It is fun to see these 2 interact.

Happy Wednesday!

Friday Favorites

4th of July lunch at home
Our 4th was pretty simple....we stayed at home for the day and went to Ashley's that evening.

I made one of the quickest, easiest, and healthiest meals I have ever prepared this week.  I sauteed some shrimp in the skillet, cooked some tomatoes (fresh from Ashley's garden) and added "zoodles", which was the first time I used my spiralizer to make zucchini noodles.  It was a great combination and again, so quick and healthy!

As much as I take pictures, I don't always do it when I am out with friends.  We did have a chance this week to catch up with some old friends, and it was so fun, but I didn't take any pictures.

And having this girl back home from a week in Miami is a favorite of mine too.

Happy Weekend!

Weekend Wrap Up

Another weekend has come and gone, but it was a good one.  I went to dinner with some friends Friday night, which was fun, but no pictures from that.

Saturday was a work day at the house.
While the guys worked, the girls took a lunch break on the porch and also helped entertain our friend's daughters who spent most of the day with us.
In the end, here is our new breakfast area.  It is all the same level, but we do need sheet rock now and will build a window seat to cover the remaining sand.
We have all our pictures hung on the wall in the dining room.
And have the chairs covered with our new rug underneath.
The den has new hardwood and just need to do some transitions and finish around the fireplace.

Our neighborhood decorates for the 4th and had activities Saturday, including a fishing rodeo, boat parade, and a firework show.
Getting ready for fireworks

People decorate their boats and they are judged in different categories.

Waiting on fireworks!

It was a good firework show and thankfully no rain.  I do like some patriotic music in the background, but maybe next year I'll play my own playlist!

Happy holiday week!
