"namastay in bed".

A few Saturdays ago, we watched "Father of the Bride".  The girls had never seen this great movie.

We have discovered massage chairs at the mall!

Last month, we saw several fires around the city from our balconies.

St. Patrick's Day ~ belated

Yes, it's two weeks late, but this is a belated St. Patrick's Day post!  With Spring Break and Easter, St. Patrick's Day didn't get its blog day here, so here are some photos from our St. Patrick's Day.

I bought these clovers when we were in Miami.

I added the gren plates and cups, which I purchased in Bogota.  They went perfectly on our yellow placemats, representing the "pot of gold"!

This was the afternoon snack of the day.

From another blogger, I got these cute printables, which I posted on green paper, and wrote notes to Avery, Isabella, and Brook.

We had green pancakes for dinner!

(along with some bacon, fruit and green Hershey kisses for dessert).

It was a nice evening and I am lucky to have this crew!

Weekend Wrap Up ~ Easter Edition

Today we get back to normal routine post Spring Break and the Easter holiday.  However, Brook was sick during the night, so she has one more day of her Spring Break, but Isabella is on her way to school. Next week,  I will share photos from our Spring Break trip.

Here is a glimpse of our Easter decorations around the apartment this year:

My favorite

I printed this spring printable and have it displayed on our tv stand.

My new candle I bought in Miami along with a bunny I got from my mom last summer.

New kitchen towels

Our Easter egg banner

I wrote on our windows to greet the girls on their first day of Spring Break.

We dyed Easter Eggs Saturday afternoon,

The girls received Easter sacks with some candy.  Their presents were their recent trips to Miami and Cartagena!!

The table was set for lunch!

It is a little blurry, but we had fruit, potatoes, pork loin, carrots, bread, green beans, corn, asparagus, deviled eggs, brownies and jelly beans!

My crew, Ross & Angela Floyd, and Edwin

Edwin has moved back to Bogota for a new job.

We played some fun games!

We used paper plates and cups, but still had a full counter and sink of dishes!

Friday Favorites ~ Miami Edition

So today's favorites are an overload of photos from our trip to Miami because that was for sure the favorite of our week!
Brook always wears her "Paradise Bound" shirt when we are headed somewhere warm!

I love to drive!

Isabella enjoying the front seat (she didn't stay like this for long :).

First stop of our shopping, Michaels!

Brook and Eden were finally reunited Sunday afternoon!

The results of our shopping

The girls having fun in the hotel room

Isabella in Nordtsrom trying on the baby blardigan I have read about so many times on a blog I read.  It was our first stop into an actual Nordstrom store.

The joys of washing your hands and Bath and Body Works!

And the joys of ordering Chick-Fil-A!

Cheers!

We made a second trip to Target, because, why not??

One of the highlights of the trip was seeing all the cruise ships lined up!!

This is where my niece, Naomi, lives.

Miami Beach
(see Isabella at the bottom of the photo?)

There's Brook!
And look at the amazing beauty of the colors of the sky, water, and sand!

After a short time at the beach, the girls and I went to Texas Roadhouse.

Delicious

This was our rental car, one of our favorites, a Jeep Cherokee.

Isabella taking selfies on my phone while went into to buy....

frozen yogurt!

Dinner with the family

Since Brook wasn't with us on our first trip to Chick-Fil-A, we went back so Brook could go there too.

Me with my sister-in-law and brother at the airport

Saying goodbye is always hard for these two :(

We had seats close to the front which so nice to be at the front of the immigration line when landing in Bogota.

We brought home many goodies, but this was a new one.  Brook requested Hawaiian rolls so we enjoyed these Wednesday night!

It was a great trip and we were so glad to get-a-way.  Happy weekend!
