Tuesday, October 18th was Brook's 12th birthday.
We started the day with 2 birthday traditions in our home....decorating the door and breakfast in bed.
We have used streamers in the past, but this year, I recycled this background we used for her last birthday.
She requested blueberry muffins and bacon.
Up next, Brook requested lunch at her favorite restaurant at the mall and shopping.
We spent the evening at home as a family and had a birthday dinner together.
BBQ, criolla potatoes, strawberries, and croissants.
Then she opened cards & gifts....
Her shirt says "Not my problem" and her bag says "literally do not care". Oh my!!

Then we had her bithday dessert of choice....arequipe ice cream and brownies!
She was received lots of birthday greetings via social media and already has her countdown to her 13th birthday!
