Here we are a few days from 2018 and I am posting some favorite photos from 2017.
January
My precious great niece was born.
We moved into our new home & spent the next few months unpacking. The remodeling is still under way, but we have made lots of progress!
February
Isabella celebrated her 16th birthday with a Colombian theme and salsa dance lessons.
March
Isabella got her permit to drive, and Brook was in a play.
She also got braces.
My sister turned 50!
I was reunited with my 5th and 6th grade school teacher!
April
I hosted Easter at our home.
The girls and I went strawberry picking.
Avery and I went to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in concert.
May
Our family went to camp with our church.
We celebrated Memphis in May which honored Colombia on the Mississippi River at BBQ Fest.
Mother's Day
We took an overnight trip to Nashville.
June
Father/daughter camping trip for Father's Day
My in-laws came to Memphis.
We participated in VBS at church.
I had shopping days with my girls one on one.
July
Leah came to spend a few nights with us.
Lunch date with my sister and mom.
My best friend from NC came for a few days to visit.
Brook went to Miami with Eden for the 4th of July week.
I hosted a baby shower for my sweet friend.
My greats made their first visit to our home.
August
This sweet boy was officially adopted.
The girls flew by themselves for the first time.
Avery and I had a date night downtown Memphis on Beale Street.
We watched the Eclipse at the Memphis Redbirds baseball game.
September
We went to the fair for the first time in years.
The girls and I enjoyed a vacation to Southern California with my sister-in-law and niece.
Holllywood and Disneyland too!
October
This girl turned 13 and had a pumpkin painting party with friends.
We had an afternoon with the greats and watched Trolls.
We enjoyed fall temperatures with a canoe ride at our neighborhood lake and went to a corn maze.
We dressed up for Halloween and went trick-or-treating with friends.
November
We celebrated Veteran's Day, which was my birthday and had lunch with my parents.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at Nicole & Tyler's.
We were reunited with dear friends we met through our missionary journey.
December
We went to a Christmas parade & saw Christmas lights.
We spent some time in the Carolinas visiting my in-laws.
We hosted my family for Christmas Eve and enjoyed Christmas in our first house.
