Yes, it's mid January, but it's my first blog in a month and therefore, first blog post in 2016!
A lot has happened in a month, and for sure a lot of pictures, and there were many moments I didn't even capture on camera! I will do my best to be done blogging about Christmas vacation by February :). So, this first round of pictures are from some days leading up to Christmas. Enjoy!
One of my favorite parts of packing....switching over from Colombian to US currency!
Finally time to board for Memphis!
Needless to say, I had ordered just a few packages to be delivered to my parents home :).
When I go back to Memphis, the first thing I do is put on my wedding ring again.
After church Sunday, we went to our Sunday lunch place, Holiday Ham. Here is Brook with the Janovich kids.
Isabella is with Ellie and her little sister. I was able to eat with the moms of these girls!
Our sweet friend, Lauren, drove down from St. Louis to see us for a night. We met her during our first training with MTW and she served in Honduras.
We took photos in front of the pretty Peabody tree.
They always have a huge gingerbread display.
Walking in Memphis with my feet on Beale!
Aw, us in Memphis at the river....perfection.
It was the neatest thing. We saw the riverboat leave and it was playing Christmas music. It was a pretty magical moment.
The next morning, Brook met us at the Peabody.
My dear friend, Ashley, brought her and we enjoyed the pretty decorations.
Brook and her friends with the moms all went to lunch together.
Here is Brook....waiting on Eden to arrive!
Cousins are together again!
Then we made the pilgrimage to Graceland for Christmas.
