What I'm Reminiscing About............

I have loved these past few weeks of having a break from work.  I loved taking my daughter to and from school and running errands with my older daughter.  I also enjoyed time with friends and family.

What I'm Loving............

All the Christmas lights!

What We've Been Up To.................

This week and these next few weeks include me learning a new job.  I have also been doing lots of online shopping and am done with buying for my girls, so that is good.  I have also been trying to do some meal planning for this week so I can get into a new routine with the new job.

What I'm Dreading................

I think my only dread is working the week of Christmas, but I am also super thankful I have Christmas Day off work.  I will make the best of it and it will all be okay.

What I'm Working On......................

Wrapping all the presents!!!

What I'm Excited About......................

One of my Black Friday and birthday gifts to myself is this vacuum.  I am late to this party, but it is so fun to watch this move around the house and clean for me :)!!

What I'm Watching/Reading................

I am watching Hallmark movies, Christmas specials, and keeping up with this season of The Voice as well.

What I'm Listening To.......................

I am listening to all the Christmas music (Gwen Stefani's Christmas album is my favorite!) and Greg Laurie podcasts.   That is on repeat month to month for me.

What I'm Wearing.........................

I am basically trying to get creative with my leggings and tops now that I am working again to make it business casual :).

What I'm Doing This Weekend...................

I hope to catch up on Christmas movies and relax after my week back at work.

What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month................

I am excited about all the Christmas specials, movies, looking at Christmas lights and watching my girls open their gifts.  I look forward to Christmas morning with my family and am so thankful to have that day off work.

What Else Is New................

We are all decorated for Christmas and I am loving it all.  We decorated before Thanksgiving because we went out of town.  It was so nice to come home to a house that was all ready for Christmas!

Weekend Wrap Up ~ Thanksgiving Holiday

Happy Monday!  Back to the real world of work and school today around the country.  For me, I start my new job today, so prayers appreciated for this next transition.  We spent our Thanksgiving holiday in North Carolina with my in-laws.  It was a super quick trip, but we were glad to go and glad to get home.  

I enjoyed some good hot chocolate. 

We did a little Black Friday shopping.

I was able to meet my new niece, who was just 9 days old when we met. 

The girls loved meeting their new cousin. 

I spent some time here when I lived in North Carolina.

On the way home, we were able to have a quick visit with our Bogota team leaders who are in the states for a visit.  It was great and we could have spent so much more time together.

I came home and caught up on some Thanksgiving shows.  It will take a while to catch up on the Hallmark movies with so many that were aired over the holiday.

Tuesday Talk: Bathroom Update

Today, I am sharing a bathroom update in our home. We recently updated the flooring in our guest bathroom.  

This was the original flooring, which I always liked. However, last year, we had taken out the carpet in the hallway leading into this bathroom.  So here is the before...

We wanted to make the flooring all the same in this area. Until now, I have just had a rug over this area.  Here is the before of the hallway...

In the midst of the floor remodel, I painted the original vanity.

I painted it the same color as our den and added some pictures.

We are so thankful to have this area updated.  Slowly, we are updating little things throughout the house. 

So thankful for my husband and all he does!

Wedding Weekend

My beautiful niece got married this weekend and she looked stunning! Here are some photos from the big day..........
